I just picked up an ebay refurb of the costco variant for $797.99 - $95.76 coupon (shown in cart, was pleasantly surprised) + tax = $754.90. Ebay throws in a free two-year warranty for being certified refurb. Only 3 left!
This is very tempting. This would be perfect for photo editing. Would I be able to add another ssd to this?
If the one comes with 512gb, most likely Lenovo would have put in the 2242 ssd leaving the 2280 slot open but you'll need to buy the screw off eBay. Unless it comes with the 2280 then you could use the other 2242 slot
I multi task and have 3 different profiles of chrome with multiple tabs plus extensive process heavy work with data analytics. The Costco version of this laptop and the H processor has been great at handling everything without hangup.
Haven't used it really without having it plugged in to at least a USB c charger so can't speak to battery life.
Stock Lenovo proprietary charger is like 145w vs my USB c chargers which are 100w or 120w.

This is the legion, but seems similar, maybe ram is not completely soldered and can be upgraded?

"82VB0002US", where you've said "82K80001US", so they are different models. This has LPDDR5, so it is certainly soldered.

On Amazon similar laptop says "less than 5lbs", but then item weight is listed 7.4lbs. probably with packaging. At any rate, kinda heavy
