C2 is not Gallery Edition. Obviously false advertising by Amazon. Hopefully OP will correct it here.

I saw some talk on here that the warranty deal is off after Jan 22 hence the price drop. People were saying to buy it more expensive with the warranty and come back after Jan 22 and ask Costco for a price adjustement, which is a great idea if you ask me.

My understanding is the C2 Evo panel only comes on sizes 55 inches and higher. NOT on the 42 or 48 inch screens.

I'm hoping the prices keep coming down on them with the super bowl right around the corner. Still waiting on that 55" under $1000. Missed the last one

LG's website states the C2 has the Evo panel. Earlier info questioning it was from before the TV hit the market last year.

It also has "art mode", but that does not make it a gallery edition. The G series are galley edition because of the flush mount and easel accessory, hence the G.

The cheapest prices come right after the 2023 models release - around spring time. I have no doubt this will be $999. I saw the LG G1 55" for that much and regret not pulling the trigger.

At that point I'll want the the C3. Can't do that! 😂.

I'm waiting to see what deals come up closer to the super bowl. If nothing good comes up I'll accept the offer I got from the verde website.

This tv comes with an individual Allstate warranty coverage priced at $99 if purchased at Costco.com. That $99 is discounted to 0 though. It's a different warranty coverage than the one comes from Costco credit card.
