reviews for studded:
https://smile.amazon.com/HydroJug...B09TDCYGDQ edit: actually, most of the reviews seem to be talking about a plastic version.

I'd have gotten If the studded one was also silicone.

EDIT: Nvm, maybe it is.. Was looking at the amazon non-woot page and the picture stated only the smooth one was silicone. But the description for both says it's silicone.. Sooo yea probably silicone for the ribbed one too... giggity

That's what she said.

But I also think the studded one is silicone. The description mentions silicone sleeve twice. Is there some other descriptor that says it is not?

I'm on the fence. I really like that it's glass. I have a different hydroflask bottle that is 64 oz and with a stray that I like... so this would be nice to have another option that is easy to clean. Seems expensive but then again with the $5 off amazon prime deal, it's not too bad.

I guess the plus side is that since it's silicone and it's thinner than the vaccum sealed variant, it MIGHT be easier to hold with one hand too. Probably the main reason I don't use my 64oz hydroflask, it's rather unwieldly.

The straw/lid on this hydro Jug is.. I don't know.. Doesn't seem ideal compared to the hydroflask 3rd party lid I got

The lid on my hydroflask looks like this
https://www.amazon.com/KMN-Hydrof...r=8-4&th=1

Plus side is that it's glass, water won't taste like plastic/metal lol. As for the ease of cleaning, probably on par unless that lip opening is larger than it appears. And I'm digging the stud design ngl lol. Gonna pass, i r broke

It is really weird that they don't show any pictures of it actually in use... only like engineering cut outs to say "straw included"! like... does it pop up if you open the top or do you have to drink from a nub in there?

Lol yea, that's what I thought too, drinking from a nub or.. But interesting straw design, it's part silicone and part plastic.

Ya, I think it's just a nub. A youtube video opened it up and it looks like there is a little bit there. I'm with you. I have a hydroflask with a top similar to the one you linked and like it a lot. If they had that type of pop up straw with glass, this would be perfect.
