Just make sure you tweak picture settings (at a min, take it off eco mode), and my guess is you will be pleasantly happy. That advice holds for whatever TV people buy - they usually come on a power saving mode that impact brightness.

Does this mean sports will be better?
The only bad thing about this is reflections. So set it up in an area where there are no reflections from the light or window. And you're good
It gets really bright. My last tv before this was 10 years old so I don't know if I'm not used to the new tech but I had to turn the backlight down to 60% or so otherwise it kind of hurt my eyes
This one destroys that Samsung. It's junk.
My use case is a living room TV used for media and light console gaming.
The current TV I have there is a 55" TCL 4-Series; need a bigger TV for the space.

Today the screen has horizontal flicker lines!
Anyone else has this issue?
i wonder if it will ever come back, probably 2023 models coming.

I ended up with the Hisense (will receive tomorrow) because the TCL horizontal lines issues scared me off.
