I'm surprised this is getting downvoted.

Full Array, 128 dimming zones, 120Hz Native, 1000 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, HDR10+ Adaptive, ATSC 3.0, great Rtings @ 8.1.

Am I the one missing something here for a budget 85" TV with all the bells and whistles as this seems like a solid deal for a mid-level TV?
You're not missing anything. This is a FANTASTIC value for this 85 inch TV!
That's the 75" for $930 at Costco. Costco doesn't carry this 85".

Been eyeing this one for a couple weeks now, might be time to pull the trigger. Solid all around tv from what I can gather, only thing that's holding me back is the brand name.

Its a great TV, I have Costcos 75", I really wanted the 85" but it wasn't out yet at the time i was shopping. The panel is perfectly fine, colors pop, a ton of advanced settings to get lost in. My favorite perks are the enhanced HDMI settings for console gaming (120Hz,VRR,ALLM,HDR) and the ATSC 3.0 tuner.

5 or more years ago this would be true, but hisense makes some of the best TVs out period

U6/U7/U8 series will all be mini LED in 2023, & all available up to 85". U7H is 2022 model.

So yeah this is a great deal price wise, but by summer there will be a better U7K & U8K in 85". Not getting a price like this on any of those until 2024 though, if then even.

If you're coming from something 5+ years old (non QLED, OLED or QD-OLED), this QD-QLED/ULED will impress you in a lot of ways.

Hisense TVs do have their flaws though, mostly due to the system on a chip/processing. Can lead to frustrations with motion handling & higher end gaming features.

128 dimming zones is not fantastic on an 85", but U7 series is not their top tier TV. My U8G 65" has over 300 dimming zones & it's 20" smaller & a 2021 model.

How does this stack up against Sony's X90K(CK for Costco)? RTings has this slightly higher but this was tested with their 1.8 standard vs the Sony with 1.9. They outright recommend the UH8 line over it but there is no 85" U8H.
