Adult here. I enjoyed Racing Transformed quite a bit. I'd say it's easily the best of the 3 Sonic Racing games. The items and overall game mechanic in the game seem more balanced. Winning feels like it takes less luck and more skill in this, than in Mario Kart. The career/main/story mode in the Sonic game starts off easy enough, but is pretty challenging to finish and get 100%. I like that it's not just about plain racing, but there are challenges around your ability to drift, dodge traffic, utilize boosts, etc.. The challenges kinda train you to be better at these types of racing games. There's not really any story to it, but it doesn't feel like one is needed anyways. The tracks are pretty well designed, and there is a good selection of them. The music is pretty good. There's a decent character selection, and you can somewhat customize a character's racing style (handling, speed, etc.) by playing with them to get experience and unlock additional, preset racing styles. The normal multiplayer modes are all pretty much what you'd expect from these types of games too.

I've only played it on PC & WiFi, but it's one of my favorite racing games. For fans of games like Crash Team Racing, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Kart, etc., I feel like they owe it to themselves to at least try this game.

This is not hyperbole.

It really is fantastic. Doubly so if you are an older PC or Sega game player. The characters are just amazing.

Playing 'Pudding' from Space Channel 5 never gets old, she literally yells 'Pudding!'.​

Sonic Generations is one of the most fun games I have ever played, and I played all of the originals on the Genesis. It's really just that damn good, and blends the old games and new games so well.
