Shame the $1400 deal for the 65" a few months back never resurfaced. This is definitely the better pick over LG, I have the AW3423DW and an LG CX, and side by side, my QD-OLED monitor just produces much more vivid, brighter colors, it looks like the LG is a bit washed out in comparison.

Heads up. I ordered this exact model back in December when this deal came up. The tv buzzes and makes some mechanical grinding/gear sound when it's off… Returned it and ordered a 2nd one with Samsung in January by asking them to price match it. Guess what? Same issue with the noises so I'm again working on another return. Back tv label looks used, so not sure if I'm unlucky or this is a known issue with this specific model number.

That's because OP did a bad job with the title/post.

Putting things in parentheses makes no sense, when it could have simply been:

55" S95B is $1,014.99 [samsung.com]

65' S95B is $1,619.99 [samsung.com]

Follow instructions below to get lower price:
1. Visit the Samsung Discount Program page and select your qualifying program.
2. Select either 55" or 65" size
3. Add to cart
4. You may be prompted to sign into your EDU/EPP Account
5. Proceed to checkout

great tv - got the 65 in september (or around them) for $1350 before rewards and cashback. I recommend it. If you do buy it make sure to install it correct - hands on both sides and on the bottom (don't life from the corners or you'll bend the tv).

C3? Or a deal on existing C2?

CES LG stated the new G3 would be up to 70% brighter. That would make it a lot closer to this model I believe

Hard to justify the Samsung epp prices with LG Oled so cheap. B series wins in value easily but I want QD Oled since I have a c2 for my gaming monitor. Hmmm!!
How do? This is better than the C2 for less money.

Anyone considering this TV should definitely grab one. It blows away my LG C2 and C1 and it isn't even close. I was hesitant to get this because of lack of Dolby Vision but this purchase was for a bedroom where I don't watch many movies. Of course we watched a movie the first night to test it out and the picture was perfect. Also for anyone who watches live sports, this tv is far superior to the LGs

It has been this price pretty consistently on EPP for the last month.
