I bought a samsonite set off buydig about 5 years ago. Eventually the handle on one of the suitcases was stuck so couldn't use the roller wheels. Was annoying. I reached out to samsonite for warranty about 3 weeks ago and dropped it off at a Samsonite store paid $20 and they sent me a brand new even better model. I was very impressed and am a fan for life.

Really don't like these designs where the suitcase splits in middle. It's good in a sense that you have stuff on both sides and don't have to dig deep to find certain clothing. But when you get to hotel room, you can't open up next to a wall and have the open suitcase next to the wall, you have to find an open area and lay suitcase open flat. I don't always unpack suitcase and use the hotel draws.

Good point, but that is true for all hardside luggage. To avoid that you need a softside luggage.

This is one of the reasons I prefer softside luggage that have all the storage in the bottom and the top with just zipper pockets.

Looks like a good deal. My issue with the set is the weight of the 27 inch, it shows 14.9 lbs which is about 4 lbs heavier than most 27-28 inch bags. When it comes to checked bags we all know every pound matters and that 50 lb limit comes quick (at least when my wife packs)!
