Keep in mind that the Rtings review is for a 65" with an ADS/IPS panel. This 85" has a VA panel, so overall it will perform better than the Rtings review suggests... especially for movies.

For just $400 more, this is a better deal than the lg86 and Sony85 deals posted recently.

Will the delivery company bring into the house? Debating if I should borrow a hand truck. Will just be the wife at home so I'm hoping they would at least drop off into garage.

Not likely to have wrong firmware out of factory. The firmware problem is more likely OTA update doesn't work with some hardware they shipped before. Hope they keep good track of chips going to each batch, otherwise it's going to be a nightmare to support multiple hardware revisions…

Only one guy delivering mine, I helped him bring it in the front door....Daughter helped me unbox and lift onto tv furniture (not mounted on wall)....

The Q80 to QN85 is a big jump to upgrade to miniLED for only $200. Also has a more powerful processor.
The difference between the QN85 and QN90 is very small for a $300 difference.

The QN85 is the sweet spot for the 85".

Agreed. I have a q80 sitting in a box ready to ship back. I got the q85 ordered. I'm also happy about the thickness of the qn85 being smaller.

They're supposed to bring it inside to your entryway but not beyond. Though for $10-20 I'm sure they'll bring it wherever you want.
