About Game:
  • Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.
  • A future, unwritten - Atreus seeks knowledge to help him understand the prophecy of "Loki" and establish his role in Ragnarök. Kratos must decide whether he will be chained by the fear of repeating his mistakes or break free of his past to be the father Atreus needs.

An excellent followup to the 2018 God of War that's absolutely worth the price but as others have said, it can be had cheaper now and much cheaper in the future.

I think it will be quite a while for the digital version to hit that price. I know some people prefer the physical version, but I prefer digital.

If you want the physical version it's already cheaper.

Today I learned that it was going to be a trilogy but sony wanted it to be one and done, hence why the game is so long

That's surprising, I would think that Sony would want the money train rolling with 2 more GoW games 🤔

Yes it was originally meant to be a trilogy.
Sony Santa Monica didn't want to take 15 years for fans to get to the ending of the Norse story.
The game isn't longer than it needs to be.
