It's interesting that a M2 Mac Mini sells for $599 and the M1 MacBook Air frequently sells for $799, while the Apple Watch Ultra costs $799. Oh the miseries of marketing.

Excellent watch. I am not an ultra-athlete, but find the the large screen, battery and screen brightness very helpful.
IMO, the most comfortable band for the Apple Watch Ultra is the trail loop.

ill have to check that band out. the ocean band it come with is fine but i have been wondering if any of the others are better.

I do have a question about this watch. can somebody please educate me on how accurate the calorie burn is during workouts? seems like it a bit on the generous side. im finding it a bit hard to believe.

Can AppleCare+ be canceled? I have not downloaded or used yet. I am not really sure if it's really needed for a watch.

Same here. I'm having hard time justifying $800 for a watch when I can pick up a mini (newest) for $499 (edu discount). Or I should say given my use: long battery life and the new look. Hard to justify the extra $400-500 compared to a regular Apple Watch.

If I cancel apple care right away, will I get charged the full price for the watch or I'll get refunded for the apple care part and the watch price is separate and stays the same
