Paramount and Apple have so many deals/promo codes you never have to pay.

Subscribe with code
Cancel immediately
Let sub expire after x days (usually 30 days)
Resubscribe with new code
Repeat

The current paramount code is PLAYOFFS. However check slickdeals for whatever the latest one is at any time.

The mainly relevant information for this deal, also a dealbreaker, is that it is actually the ad-supported worst tier, which is especially awful at Peacock. That fact needs to be in the topic title.
It's not awful have tried watching a show on ad supported Hulu? It's much worse

I've managed to score $50/year for the no-ads version, every single year including this one.

But after the streaming outfits said they'd be cutting back on all of the "expensive content we've been making" to make it more profitable, I won't be buying ANY annual subs for anything, unless it's a stupidly cheap deal. 2020 and 2021 saw a lot of good first run content come to streamers, and that was worth a year round sub.

I'll get each for one month out of the year. watch what I've missed, and be just fine with that. It sure helps me with all of the expensive content I was buying by the year previously, and will help me be more profitable.

You just need a new email and possibly a new (virtual) payment method to use during the trial. Every single email that I've ever had has been used on paramount+/cbs all access trials, and I've created at least a dozen throwaway emails on top of that.

I started paying annually when it was $50 ad free, and there was usually a new series on that interested me. I haven't seen anything of interest on P+ in months.

Not true. The ad-supported worse tier is actually free

The Peacock app is really bad especially with the ad supported tier. Imagine every time an ad comes up, this is 3 times for a 20 minute show, the app will just freeze. Sometimes it will continue and sometimes it will not and you will need to restart the app. If there is anything good is that these ads do not seem to be targeted, although that is debatable as I am getting ads that do not apply to me at all, which I forgot how much worse it makes ads when that happens.

I think the Peacock commercials are very reasonable. No idea what is your expectation for the price

This does not happen on my Nvidia Shield. Can't talk about the experience on other platforms but on the Shield it works perfectly fine

Poker Face is the only reason I came to the thread. Trying to find a way to watch for free with no ads

Not familiar with Peacock's tiering, can you explain further why it's especially awful for Peacock? I've experienced HBO Max ad-supported and Hulu ad-supported (the latter of which really sucks). Are the ads here even worse than Hulu for example?

Just a PSA again that Peacock lowest tier is permanently free for Xfinity customers
Same for Spectrum in Tampa Bay area.
