If this reaches only one cheap b@stard in semi-rural Arkansas, then I'm a hero. Cabot, AR HD has the LARGE $79 bags for $1. I literally put clothes back on to make it there before closing tonight hoping to get a couple small ones. I got 20 and ran out of energy. Left 10ish. Might be 4 or 5 at opening tomorrow. Hell, there might be another pallet somewhere. Employees were headed toward them after they saw me pushing my cart. By the way… 180 smaller bags in OP still on hand as well. I left 30 of them on a big cart…after the HD guy handscanned the big one and said "Damn….them a dollar too son." Hahaha. I just realized this isn't the little bag post.
Same here in CT. This deal is in multiple threads and FB groups.
ALL sizes of this were $1/bag last night at the Waterford, CT store. They had a few pallets at the entrance that were pretty dusty. Appears to be a pretty wide-ranging clearance based on my impressions from FB groups.
I already prebought my fertilizer for next year, and would have bought more, but the reviews on this are super polar - either 5 or 1 star with the 1 star saying it "burned" their lawn, although I will say that this fert isn't compatible with some types of grass so it might very well be user error.
Whoa, that's like a 1000% markdown! Wondering if these are the bags left in the rain all last year? Do these go bad if water gets into them? But hey if I find some, I'm gettin' some.

If moisture gets in, the pellets will turn into a solid brick. You can tell if they're ok just by feeling them.

In case you actually care, Scott's that HD carries changed formulas and bag size this year. Now it's a 12k sqft bag for 80 bucks!

Shrinkflation.
I bought what I need for this year at the end of last year. Seed is particularly expensive. Crazy to think I can spend $500 on a less than 1 acre lawn every year just in seed and fert.
