Huh?? Just where in that was a reference to race??

EU has a Ton more to offer the traveler than Hawaii, which is a pretty tourist island with limited things to do once you've seen the waterfalls, walked the nature, and done the tourist shopping/beach thing.

Given that the cost of flights + stay + EU/dollar is comparable, I'd agree. Once you've seen Hawaii, once is often enough.

After traveling around the world for nearly a year, hitting 6 of 7 continents, Hawaii is still my favorite place to visit - US law, currency, no passports and the most isolated place on the earth, it's paradise in my opinion.

Actually, it was only $369 or so ROUND TRIP out of jfk for a bit

I used to go annually to Hawaii when the kids were younger...flew from LAX.

I will say that I after a couple really rainy spring trips, we would only go during the summer months.

There is little more boring than a tropical destination in wet weather...plus the fact that you're dropping a lot of money for nothing.

I scanned through a bunch of the flights and they were all early morning times. So if you want to connect from another city (DFW for me), it most likely require an overnight stay.
