I have the Ryobi P717, which looks nearly identical, and it's super bright. The P717 is listed at 2500 lumens and is the best spotlight I've ever owned. Nice price for this one at $30 shipped. Looks like this is an improved output successor to the P717.

I bought mine (same seller) as a factory blem and it arrived in new sealed retail packaging; couldn't tell it from brand new. I'm very happy with my Ryobi 18V tools, and if you wait for deals you can pick them up super cheap.
Pull the trigger to turn on and it stays on full brightness after trigger is released. Second trigger pull decreases brightness to medium. Third turns it off. This one has 3 brightness levels, so I'm assuming 4 trigger pulls (bright, medium, low) then off.
Too bulky for security, but could be decent for camping. Really depends on the beam pattern. With the advertised throw of 650yd this could be decent for seeing stuff far away like across your yard or a small pond. The form factor would work well as a stationary light if you need to light up a workshop in a pinch. Possibly too large for close-up work, again depends on the beam itself.

Honestly there are better lights out there for a similar price. Check out the Sofirn IF22A if you need a small spotlight, or Wurkkos FC11 or Sofirn SP36 for a great light you can throw in your bag and always have ready.

Anyone have one of these? Wondering how bright it really is, says 3,000 lumens but you rarely can go by that.

Does it toggle on and off like a flashlight? Or do you have to hold the trigger?

My son has this light:
https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com...ct/PCL630B

It runs on battery or can be plugged into an extension cord, and it is BRIGHT. It's a bargain at $29.99

I wish Milwaukee made such a good light.
