can someone tell me if i can use this to cut at an angle? I need to put in some baseboards and wondering how to connect the corners. Thanks!

Yes. That's what the "Adjustable bevel 0° - 45°" means. Pivots to the left. You can see it from the pictures on the backrest cutout

Yeah, they covered the return shipping but it was a hassle lugging it back to FedEx. It comes in a pretty big box (mine was the sliding miter so prob bigger than this saw). Third one arrived fine but this took weeks of back and forth. Don't recommend for anyone who quickly needs a saw asap. DT ships slow to begin with and they don't package properly.

Just ordered. $53 w/tax. Free shipping code worked. Wanted the stand too but it is store only, does not ship. No stores near me. Hopefully this will be a good basic miter saw. Specs are the same as one I had for years but died a year ago.

Yep, definitely! Otherwise it comes in a big box with minimal to zero padding. Just a 30+ pound of metal equipment freely tumbling around to timbuktu. I hope they've since changed their shipping methods, but doubtful (got my saw last year).
