You make it sound like the worst game ever made. It's not great and I'd agree, not worth $60 but I don't think it's that bad.

Personally I don't think so. It's not a game that just wasn't finished or polished like Cyberpunk, or a great story that's just too weird like Death Stranding. There isn't one thing that if you "fix," it's suddenly got a target audience, it's gameplay, story, and graphics are all solidly OK.

Game isn't worth 60 but the hate boner the internet has for this game is suspicious. Other bad games don't get this much attention..........

It's sad this game is not getting good review.
Some recent SquareEnix games didn't do well because not getting enough marketing. But SE definitely put a lot of marketing behind this one.

I think the internet collective had too high of an expectation just because it was an exclusive PS5 generation game with no PS4 version. Regardless, you're right; games like this don't usually get this much attention.
