Price Matched to Best Buy. I have used every imaginable e-mail and fake identity I have to get new customer coupons at MicroCenter. Now I'll just use my Reward Zone points at Best Buy.
This will work if your Best Buy is within 25 miles of the MicroCenter.
I just picked one up from Cambridge, MA. I used my coworkers cell phone number and email. He screen shot the code and sent it to me. It worked, $304.99.
I know upgrading from a 12700k to this isn't really worth the effort but I do this every generation. I should be able to get around $250 on ebay for the 12700k. So for about $100 I get to upgrade a generation. It is worth it to me at that price.
I just got the 13700k installed and so far I am impressed. I am already at +2 on p and e cores in MSI bios and I hit 31,560 in R23. I am running a custom water cooled loop so I can push it more than most. I am gonna try +3 on both next. That was the sweet spot for the 12700k before it required a ton of voltage to go further. My average score with the 12700k at +3 was just above 24k.

Bought this 2 weeks ago at MC for 379. Went in yesterday and got my price adjustment. I considered returning this and getting a $529 13900k because of the great price......but I really don't need it.

From all the reviews I have watched and read the 13900k is the way to go if you do a lot of editing. For gaming the difference is minor. In fact if you mainly only care about gaming the 13600k is a great option especially at the current $249 price.

Yes I'm fully versed on the differences between the processors.

I called for price protection and Microcenter refused...you have to do price match in person. They will only remotely refund your money if you use their credit card or AMEX and their website doesn't say that on their FAQ. Customer support listed it's on their community page... how is a customer suppose to know that? Really unfair and they wouldn't do anything about it..I asked to get it escalated to avoid the drive again and their supervisor wouldn't do anything about it...I requested the information passed along the store manager, I don't know if they will reach out. Just really terrible that it's 2023 and they still have these practices of making it difficult and fine details linked somewhere else that price matching is in person only.

$305 for the $13700k is a damn good deal. I have a 12700k. At this price I am considering making the drive to MC to pick this up.
