You can make a single dumbell that's up to 36 pounds with this set. If you need a pair, then you can buy additional standard weight plates. Unfortunately the deal is dead though.

thanks! in for one. such old fashion dumbbells look much more durable than bowflex and much cheaper. UPDATED: cancelled, just realized it's 20 lbs max per hand, that's way too light
