This is a warning. Do not purchase this POS. This freezer decided to thaw everything suddenly and ruined a couple months of precious breast milk for my infant. It happened in under a month of owning it. I've heard all the warnings from people online to stay away from samsung and LG refrigerators and freezers but thought it was overblown. Well, I am now one of the people warning others

Sounds a lot like failure in the frost-free system? or maybe it decided to turn itself into refrigerator mode? Or maybe someone pushed those buttons accidentally? In any way, which model would you recommend if you have something else in mind?

I'm not sure what it did. Visually, its a very nice looking freezer but dont risk it. Costco refunded me and gave me extra money for the spoiled goods. I ended up purchasing a GE standing freezer
