I think the previous low was $1399.99 for the 65" model.

Note for those purchasing it... I had the "white glove delivery" and they bent the tv the first time they installed it and had to replace it. Basically, make sure you don't pick it up from the corners of the tv. Pick it up with one hand on each side and then one hand on each side of the base. You will NOT be able to pick up this TV with just one person - it's too thin and will possibly (probably?) bend. Added an image of where the direction say to pick up for the 65".

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

edit: back when I got mine I got the Upsie [upsie.com] warranty for it (which covers burn in). Use promo code PLAYOFF for a 10% discount on the warranties. I got the 3 year myself but up to you of course.
3 Year Warranty - $153.89
5 Year Warranty - $341.99

Just as a heads up for all non-EPP people who want the deal: if you have AAA membership this deal works.

Navigate here: https://discounts.aaa.com/home-bu...ts/samsung

Enter your info and you'll be redirected to Samsung's website. You'll see the TV listed as $16XX, but as soon as you get into checkout, it'll show as $1259.99.

Enjoy!

The whole fragile thing is overblown. Picked mine up and had no issues.

The first thing one sees when opening the box is an image clearly showing not to lift by the corners. There is no shortage of places to lift from, just stay away from the corners.

Glad I got this over the C2, as the picture is ridiculously good.

Only downside so far are the UI and remote as they kinda suck, but I use an AppleTV so don't really care anyway.

Dolby Vision is important to me, but I pulled the trigger. I realize panel is more important than the HDR format that is being used. Samsung has the superior next gen tech and hopefully they can dial it in further with another update.

My first OLED, super excited. Still keeping an eye out for a 77" C2 for another room though.

If he's a professional TV calibrator he isn't using settings from Rtings to set up the TV. And while I'm not comparing this to a C2, I have it side by side with a CX. After calibrating them to actual standards, not plugging in numbers I copied from somebody else's calibration off of a website, they look very similar to one another. The Samsung will slightly beat the LG in some respects and the LG beats the Samsung in others. But the Samsung definitely isn't blowing the LG away.
Now if you 'calibrate' it for the greatest pop, brightness, and color disregarding any accuracy at all, sure the Samsung is going to blow it away. But if you want accuracy that's just not what you're going to see. Is extremely close with very subtle differences.
He is a pro, I'm not a videophile or anything so I asked, he said he calibrated it according to accuracy, rtings was me postulating him, guess it was easier for him to say yes to me and then say adjustments. Anyhow guess it depends on the person, I know seeing it for myself, the S95B was definitely strokes better, but to each their own, I can't really comment much, as the only thing I care about is how good it looks to me in my eyes, my family's eyes, and S95B easily won all our eyes. Shrug.

Add the tv to the app then you see there is a calibration setting, point your phone cam at the tv, and Samsung will auto calibrate the tv for you.

Just ordered! First Oled. Worried about build quality now. Lots of comments on Reddit about panels going bad.

Can someone that owns one comment?

I was afraid too but my came almost perfect. No issues with the display top or corner blend. Just follow the unpacking info from the top box and the flyer inside. Don't hold the TV by the corners. Only handle by the bottom base and mid sides. My base has a dent on it. The remote seem to have get stuck on the CH surfing down. Chat with Samsung to get both replacement.

Do you think it's better than the C2?

what was the ratings for the same size C2?

I have a Samsung curved 55 inch LCD TV I use for gaming because it won't get burned in like an old model organic LED TV will and every time I tilt it forward to connect a cable I would tilt it forward by the screen and not the base and a few months later it would start flickering and then the screen would completely fail these screens. They won't stop working immediately, but you do not want to put any tension on that panel at all. If you can avoid it, grab it only by the base they want you to hold the sides just in case someone isn't observing the center of gravity do not grab these things by the screen. If you can avoid it, they will break later and you won't know why.

Samsung and Amazon really good about replacing that screen over and over again until I started telling people not to touch the screen like the guy setting it up installing it fixing it. Cable Guy me.
Moving man

I do think it had some design flaws that would've caused it to fail anyway but flexing that screen was definitely a factor do not touch the screens. They are very thin. They are very fragile.

I want to remind people the smaller the TV the better it will look if you're close

I'm gonna have to move far back from this TV in this room now on this 55 inch LG

This does
solve the problem of LG and Samsung only have one remote code so if you want 2 TV side-by-side one must be Samsung
one must be LG if you're gonna play video games while watching a movie

I'm devastated. My TiVo won't work on this fiber net work here at this new house that I hate.

I have a CX LG in the meantime

I miss my E9
2017
It was on glass. There was no plastic black edge. It was like a hologram with the built in sound bar.
Be warned, my insurance company says it's extremely common for moving men to rob their own customers

LG was gonna give me a new screen if I paid a labor fee because it shouldn't have been burned in so quickly, but the moving man solved that problem by stealing it

I'm not allowed to make money on YouTube but if you care about that you can find me over there talking about how great this app is I wanna make an app that combines consumer reports ratings with Slickdeals because its an independent lab I really do trust them

I mean, I want to find someone who will do that

if you buy the best the first time then you won't need to buy it again or upgrade when it breaks or you need a better model

So I'm blowing all my money on a Mac mini M2 pro 32 1tb

This M1 pro laptop just can't really import video very well compared to my m1 mini

QuickTime crashes so often when there's other things loaded on the computer, I think I need one mini to import video then export

and another mini to edit it
And run multiple browsers so I can watch all my YouTube channels, analytics, pages to find out which weapon got sent to Ukraine

Does anyone know how to make an app that if you're old and sick the app asks you if you're alive every day and if you don't respond, 2 days
then the ASPCA comes to rescue your dog and it would be free because they'll be dog food commercials on there
For me and cooper?

Maybe the developers of Slickdeals should've told me to make YouTube videos and join Amazon partner program a long time ago I think I've been promoting this site for decades

I think it's OK to tell you about my three reused content channels I'm not allowed to make money on that, so no conflict of interest

Which threat to humanity are you worried about?

I don't know if you guys saw 60 Minutes on New Year's, but they said we're going to go extinct and nobody noticed. I was worried about panic but I was hoping for the reaction to Pearl Harbor.

I think I'll put a link to the Slickdeals app in my video upload defaults

I should do videos about deals I found on Slickdeals today.

That would be a lot better than talking about all these horrible things happening to me

I have a Samsung curved TV

Got AAA discount. Ordered at midnight. Picked up at local Bestbuy at 11 am. Single handedly lifted and installed in 30 mins. Now I am enjoying the new 65". The screen is a bit too large and too bright for me (coming from 48"). Overall I like the tv.
