I think the previous low was $1399.99 for the 65" model.

Note for those purchasing it... I had the "white glove delivery" and they bent the tv the first time they installed it and had to replace it. Basically, make sure you don't pick it up from the corners of the tv. Pick it up with one hand on each side and then one hand on each side of the base. You will NOT be able to pick up this TV with just one person - it's too thin and will possibly (probably?) bend. Added an image of where the direction say to pick up for the 65".

Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

edit: back when I got mine I got the Upsie [upsie.com] warranty for it (which covers burn in). Use promo code PLAYOFF for a 10% discount on the warranties. I got the 3 year myself but up to you of course.
3 Year Warranty - $153.89
5 Year Warranty - $341.99

Just as a heads up for all non-EPP people who want the deal: if you have AAA membership this deal works.

Navigate here: https://discounts.aaa.com/home-bu...ts/samsung

Enter your info and you'll be redirected to Samsung's website. You'll see the TV listed as $16XX, but as soon as you get into checkout, it'll show as $1259.99.

Enjoy!

The whole fragile thing is overblown. Picked mine up and had no issues.

The first thing one sees when opening the box is an image clearly showing not to lift by the corners. There is no shortage of places to lift from, just stay away from the corners.

Glad I got this over the C2, as the picture is ridiculously good.

Only downside so far are the UI and remote as they kinda suck, but I use an AppleTV so don't really care anyway.

ahh yes and 2 years samsung care+ Free!Smilie
Did the same but my indecisive ass cancelled the order. I started reading way too much on the QC issues plus I opted for pickup from bestbuy, which I'd have to rent a U-haul for, eh.

I just asked the chat rep straight up, at first he said the promotion was over but then I basically said I had to think about it for a while longer. I thought the chat was over but then he said he would "go ask his supervisor" if there were any more discounts or promotions could be added and of course, he said he could add the samsung care+ for 2 years for free.

You're incorrect, but that's ok. Netflix DV on C2 is a superior experience to Netflix vanilla HDR10 on the Samsung. If you're still arguing that point then I'm done replying to you. And regardless of that, the difference in PQ head to head with the C2 and S95B is minor to begin with, and there are reviewers that prefer the C2 just as there are ones that prefer the S95B.
What reviewers prefer the C2?...Please be specific with links to their reviews if you would

I have not seen a single one that had that preference

Well…the poster is talking about video streaming and image quality, which loses all credibility for me.

DV crushes HDR10+ in physical media. I own 370 4K media. 137 have DV. 11 have HDR10+.

ELEVEN.

HDR10+ is the Betamax of our age. DV won. And Samsung are fools for not paying for the license.
Not sure of the point of your argument here

If dolby vision is a must have and you wont accept a downgrade in picture quality...then pay the extra $1400 for the Sony A95K
Problem solved

While I'd agree about your point on streaming vs physical media, it's still a valid reason to want DV.
Unless you are will to sacrifice picture quality to have Dolby vision then this TV is about your only choice

Otherwise pay the 2X ish as much and buy the Sony A95K

Yeah if you do some Googling, there seem to be a myriad of QC issues with this particular set. Don't feel like playing the lottery atm and Samsung runs these promos constantly so if you change your mind down the road, it'll probably be available again at some point.

BAD ASS DEAL. Used my free AAA membership from Tmobile to log on to EPP. Then I started a chat with a customer rep to give me samsung care+ for two years free (300 buck value). Total out the door is 1375 with taxes. HOT DEAL. Even if the tv has QC issues I at least have samsung care+ to mitigate it.

The 65" has never been at this price but yes, as the new model is being released this year we will likely see more deals though it isn't guaranteed.

Katzmaier for one seems to prefer the C2 to the competitors in the price bracket.

That's kind of the point. The "sacrifice" is minimal in my experience. I'd rather have DV support all other things being equal (though they aren't here, the price is lower on the Samsung with this deal which automatically makes it a logical choice over the C2 which I've already stated).

Samsung saved me $1,300 by not accepting military or edu discount on this. Thanks. 😅

This year, however, the OLED TV competition is tougher than ever. LG's archrival Samsung has an OLED TV too, promising better color with an all-new QD-OLED panel.

I haven't reviewed other 2022 OLED TVs yet but from what I've seen so far I'd be surprised if they were significantly better than the C2. The C2 is also cheaper and available in more sizes than models like the LG G2 and those QD-OLED TVs. It also outperforms QLED TVs like the Samsung QN90B and TCL 6-Series. That's why I consider the LG C2 the best high-end TV for the money of 2022.

I much prefer the streamlined, simple layout of Samsung

Nowhere in that review is the S95B mentioned by name.

Apples and Oranges

LOL
