$ 225+gas money+ vehicle wear and tear+ 4 hours of my time = over $320
For a 4-hour trip, might as well get the $600 7900X AMD bundle instead and sell the 13600k.
Hopefully you are kidding, this is fraud and Amazon might not give you your refund if the serial number doesn't match

I paid $320 for my 13600k from Amazon. Strongly considering returning it and making the 4-hour round trip to MicroCenter to save $100. I upgraded from an AMD 3800x that I got in early 2020 and the performance jump is insane.

Unless people are gaming the system somehow, new customer coupons aren't that helpful.

But it's already a great deal, being $70 under MSRP. Makes me wonder about the 13500/13400. 13400 at $220, not worth it.

On the other hand, there are some crazy free RAM/bundles for Ryzen 7000, especially the 7900X.

Also, some good bundles on the Intel side with 12th gen:

$414.98 for i9-12900K and ASUS Z690
$297.98 for i7-12700K and ASUS Z690
$236.98 for i5-12600K and ASUS Z690

I'm hoping prices drop even more. Intel had horrible guidance this year.

If your gonna make the long trek, why not spring for the ryzen combo deal instead? :p

The bundle deals are impossible to ignore.

Among the Intel ones, 12600K + motherboard for $237, or another $61 for 12700K.

Is MC good about holding your items for pick up if you preorder them? Would hate to drive 30 miles and stand in line for nothing.

The price is $237 for the i5 CPU and another $50 for the Asus motherboard, correct? So $287 for both. I don't see a deal on their site for $237 for *both* CPU and motherboard.

This is what I did yesterday. Bought it from MC and boxed it as a return back to Amazon. I paid $300 from Amazon and luckily Microcenter is only 10 miles away from me. It was crazy packed.
