In stock but no free installation anymore it seems vs last year for NY at least.

It might just be your area. I live in Southern California and have free installation.

Per the page:

I've always had good luck with Whirlpool appliances except for dishwashers. The racks are metal and coated with some cheap crap that comes off and the racks rust and the pins fall off, usually they start rusting within a year. The racks cost an arm and a leg to replace so not worth it. I bought a Bosch 5 years ago. It was only a few bucks more and has been stellar to a Whirlpool in every way. The racks are nylon and as good as the day I bought it. The highest rated one is also the cheapest one on Consumer Reports. So my suggestion is to spend $70 more and get the Bosch. And for the record, I thought the Bosch was all hype. It wasn't.
You won't believe but reason I am in market for a dishwasher is because my cheap ass Frigidaire racks are rusting and new racks are $200. Thanks for the feedback.
any idea about kitchenaid? do they have rust issues?

The irony… here I am looking to pay more on a dishwasher this time around cause my current Whirlpool one's control panel is broken. Price is interesting and it being from Costco is great but I'm paying more for quality this time around.

Not sure, but this is what I found on the internet: "The entire interior of the dishwasher, including its first and second racks, is made of high-quality stainless steel to resist rust and corrosion. Plus, it has a nice-looking stainless-steel finish that matches the rest of your KitchenAid appliances." I'd go look at one first and make certain that's a fact.

I have this and it is a great dishwasher. I use it daily. It is extremely quiet to the point where you cannot tell if it is on. In order to properly wash and dry the dishes, the wash run takes 4 hours.

We bought a similar whirlpool 4 years ago from Costco and we think our one circuit board is going. We have had to reset the dishwasher twice (at the fuse box) and it randomly makes beeping sounds. The part is $110 on Amazon and the repair on YouTube seems manageable.

But no idea if it's worth the repair or buying a new one.
We like the dishwasher, especially the third rack. But disappointed it only lasted 4 years.

The cheapest Bosch with similar features (third rack/stainless tub) is over $900.

I'm all for buying quality but their prices have gotten insane in the last two years.

I'm gonna wait for the kitchen aid to come back... If it does. Our 17 year old may tag still works fine.

FWIW, I was at my local Bosch dealer last week and they said Bosch is quoting 14 month lead time for their dishwashers right now.

I have this one and really like the 3rd rack. It is perfect for lids for kids cups and small espresso cups.

I have the older model of this that I purchased from BestBuy and love it. I'm on my 4th year using it about 2-3 times a week and no issues at all. I would easily purchase this if I needed another dishwasher. Cant beat the value I'm getting out of my current one imo.

Btw anything below 50db is considered pretty quiet.
