If you purchased the Quest Pro directly from Oculus between November 1 and December 31, you can get your price adjusted per their holiday policy. You must do it before the end of the day tomorrow Tuesday Jan 31.

That is $400 back, but you have to put the ticket in today or tomorrow.

If you purchased it elsewhere, you may also invoke holiday policies which may have tomorrow as a deadline (or sooner or later)

Tempting, and same price at Best Buy, but I'm holding out for the Apple headset that is supposed to be out this year. Should be a major leap forward. Quest Pro is just a minor improvement over the much cheaper Quest 2.

Will people really spend that much for VR. I got my quest 2 for $200 and probably most I'd pay a bit more for more space and battery life, but $1000, I would expect there to be haptic feedback gloves, maybe vibration on your feet, and more immersive experience.

Don't get me wrong, games are a lot of fun, really cool stuff but $1k?

It's probably also going to be way more expensive. Apple doesn't sell things at a loss

People will spend more than this on a graphics card alone for gaming. Hobbies are expensive. This particular product is more of a hybrid product that is designed around productivity with gaming as a secondary option. The refresh rate is actually lower than on the Quest 2, so it's not a straight upgrade in all ways for gaming. It's also not amazing as a productivity product, so… makes sense it's discounted.

Great post! I'm really tempted. The controller alone is worth $300. The only reservation I have is the processor in Quest 3 will likely be a newer generation.
