LG - 35" LED Curved UltraWide QHD AMD Freesync Monitor with HDR (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB) - Black

Model:35WN75CN-B.AUS SKU:6508969

May not be a super slick deal but seems decent for one with 90w usb-c pd and if you are in the market for an ultra wide and still have some of the bb gc to burn

https://www.bestbuy.com/site/sku/...Id=6508969 $399.99

Looks very similar to the Black Friday Costco LG monitor that was $299, but did not have USB-C PD.

I bought the above Costco model and like it very much. I wish PD didn't bump up the price so much.

Yes, looks like same screen and only difference is the usb-c connectivity and pd. I guess that will save the cost of a docking station. I am still debating if I should get this or wait for an IPS panel. Never used an IPS monitor, but kept hearing its superior compared to VA. I think the IPS version has 1.07b color instead of this 16.7m color and little brighter.

IPS typically has a more consistent picture from all angles. VA typically does contrast better, but angle suffers. At the end of the day, both can be good depending on your use case, but if comparing at equivalent levels the IPS is usually the better all around route.

Wish the price jump from the 34/35s vs a 38/40 wasn't so huge. Really want a 40" ultrawide, but can't afford $1500+ for a monitor

I recently got a usb c power delivery monitor and can't ever go back. It's so nice to have a single wire from laptop to monitor. Though 33% higher price from the Costco deal is steep

Might be an obvious answer but wondering how easy it is to mount this on a desk? If so, any suggestions on best mount for this type of monitor?

These were also $323-340 just before Christmas. Maybe they'll come back down at some point. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0B924GWLJ

Should be super easy. Something like this will work.

The one you linked is the 34 inch IPS model, seems it had gone down to $300 during the holiday. Only drawback is that it's only a 60hz panel. This one actually never go below $399 in my search. The version without PD, 35WN65B, seems to be on sale more often and had gone down to $300 a couple times.

Check out INNOCN, Sceptre . It's under $500, 144hz, 1440p. Not a known brand but reviews and warranty seem fine
