Tried pricing matching with Target online.

This was their response:

Rep: I am sorry, the item is not valid for price match because the price of the item in our competitor's site is being offered as discounted or sales price.

Rep: Items advertised as $70off are not valid and it is stated as part of the exclusions in our price match policy.

Try again. Last time these went on sale the first rep told me no. I exited, opened a new chat and they did it no problem. I bought another today, and the rep didn't give me any issues.

they didnt really pm to costco the last time. we had offers from amazon and bestbuy. so no $5 fee involved.

No such thing as a future proof. This is a fantastic iPad especially for this price. The newer model is way over priced for what it is… This will last a long time and it has center stage and a good amount of storage. Use it for three years or four and then go get a new model.

Lol, I tried again and got the following:

What a strange reply. People price match BECAUSE items go on sale. I can't be mad at them for sticking to their policy, but that's an easy lost sale for them.

thanks for the info. yeah I own lots of apple products... you're right in they typically don't have any faults or issues in the first year... however, my last iPad (7th generation, just died after slightly over 3 years... wasn't abused, not dropped. was working fine and then boom, won't even boot, won't upgrade, won't restore. it's dead and unusable) From what I reserached sounds like an iOS update bricked it possibly or just coincidentally it had a hardware failure possibly...

on another note, Target did just price match plus I got my 5% off without any hassle through their chat rep. $251 after tax, free shipping.

I got my mother the ipad pro 10.5. That tablet is well over 5 years old. Still blazing fast and works perfectly
