Very well-reviewed vacuum according to Vacuum Wars [youtube.com]. Woulda bought this if I didn't get the Miele Triflex HX1 a few weeks ago.

Edit: mithrandir88 makes a good point that this may not be the same model

Edit2: other commentor pointed out the vacuum wars guy may have Shark affiliation. Prolly good to check out some other unbiased reviews before buying.
A quick Reddit search says that this guy used to work for Shark, thus there is concern of bias especially when many of his reviews strongly favor Shark. Any real life feedback on this compared to other top of the line cordless options?
Costco version does not have the odor neutralizer.

Vacuum Wars' top stick vac was the IZ862H for $499.99 on Amazon.
This Costco Version shows a model of UZ865H, but I can't find what the difference(s) are. Does anyone know?

Comparing specs from Amazon vs Costco do not show any glaring differences (same width, dimensions, weight. Interestingly, Costco (UZ865H) has a link to the official Shark Quick Start Guide, and the very top of the PDF shows "Shark Cordless Stratos IZ800 Series".

The plot thickens!

Same manual so the two main differences looks to be the lack of odor neutralizer and different color scheme.
They also never list battery size but using eco mode it's marketed as 50 min for the Costco version and 60 min for the non Costco version. Only way to confirm would be if someone posted the battery size for both models.

I think BJ's also had a version of this. Way better than my old Dyson V8.

I think this is as good as we're going to find out.
I spent about 90m on the phone with three different people from Shark. None could tell me the difference. Smilie

I've read it's a color difference and different sku.

Looking at both websites, it does appear to be a slightly different color wand.

Still waiting on my Samsung Bespoke Jet to ship, wondering if buying a Vac from Costco is a better idea with their return policy.

A lot of times the different model numbers are assigned to different retailers. Sometimes there's a small difference like the addition or subtraction of a feature or a change of color, many other times it's only to help the manufacturer differentiate who the original retailer is. That may help the manufacturer when they want to put their product on sale with one retailer and not another. Many companies won't "price match" if the model numbers are even slightly off.
