Nice price. Downsides compared to the OutdoorCam from what I can tell:* Detection is not as good, more false positives.
* No continuous recording, only event recordings.
* No expandable microSD slot, only 4 GB on-board.
* Harder to mount.
To use the word Security, and Eufy together is ironic...especially after it was found out they don't take your security as seriously as they advertised.
Fool me once Eufy, shame on you....Fool me twice, shame on me.

You should get ring. They are honest that your footage is available in the cloud. Your email is in the cloud too. Slickdeals is in the cloud too. Your cell phone is also in the cloud.
Anker did reply to theverge today with updates on security improvements they have made in the last few weeks. Like adding end to end encryption on the web portal.
I get so many false alarms with the Eufy floods.... both 1080p & 2k. I own quite a few Eufy cameras and am very familiar with setup and settings. It's not the settings.

This camera has become unuseable after the last update. No notifications, so slow to turn on and just garbage. I'm hoping to replace this with a ring soon.

Do you have information to share about ring, or SD, or your email saying it wasn't in the cloud, and lie about it being encrypted....and does that make it OK?? Well that's exactly what anker/Eufy did.
They just came out and said they did, after they were caught.
BRUTAL false alarms. Contacted Eufy. Their answer? It's a software issue that they're aware of and their engineers are "working on it." Still waiting after 10 months of 200+ false alarms a night.
Only thing I dislike is that, I don't think the led is replaceable
So one light goes out (currently in that situation with my 1080p floodlight), and you're expected to toss it and buy a whole new device
Wasteful
The camera will be long dead before the LED dies. Unless you were planning to use this light for your kitchen lighting after the camera dies, in which case I agree, wasteful

camera streaming on their website portal no longer work.
i have this floodlight. It sends notifications on any motion (rain, neighbor cats, moving tree shadow, etc) , even if setting is human detection only
