You might be mistaken and you can expect a pretty good charging speed with these.
I have 2 of these and they charge the stuff that I've tried just fine, and at a good and fast speed. The included adapters are Quick Charge 3.0 spec, and are outputting around 20 watts each at up to 12 volts, and when used with the included wireless charger, it sips right around the 13-15 watts and gives plenty of power for a wireless phone charger, at least according to the Ampere app on my phone... which I know isn't necessarily scientific, but I'm not necessarily a scientist either.
Some really legit looking bad reviews on the page.
What modern phones are you thinking of where it takes 8hr to charge?O.o

I don't think this will fast charge any modern phone it will take like 8hrs to charge, but if you just use it to charge over night could work for some people.

I picked up 3 of the on sale for $13 each mid last year, they have been great for Samsung phones, getting a couple more, it is nice to have wireless chargers in every room.

That would only be true if it was charging at 1-5w

No, it says QC3, 15W, so it doesn't get much faster than that. I have a similar murphy model, works great!
i had one of these and it would sometimes stop charging my iP12 pro. i'd have to remove it from the charger and put it back to start again. ended up getting an Anker one and works without issues.
