That's a good question that I don't know the answer to but curious to know. Give me a min and I'll see what I can find. Edit: Apparently the Roku TV will detect the Roku Sound bar via the ARC port. Setup is supposed to be easy. From what I'm gathering, I take it the 2 Rokus shouldn't be conflicting and a setup like that should be OK.

Hey probably a silly question...

I have a 55P605 [tcl.com]for a few years now. It's great but I have two complaints.

1) The black levels... they're not really black but rather gray.

2) During dark scenes and especially when the screen is blank, the edges kind of blip lightness here and there as if the local dimming is doing something. Like it's constantly trying to figure out how bright to make those parts of the screen.

I remember when I bought this TV there was a thing with the 6 series vs. the 4 series that was always going around and the 6 series was rated far above the 4 so that's why I got it.

So my question is, how does this compare to my TV? Are the blacks and colors just gonna blow it away?

Or will it be more or less the same?

Thank you!

Note sure about this model that's currently on sale, but I have a 65" R646 for a couple of months now. The blacks are fantastic, but of course, local dimming does its thing, so that's observable as it's adjusting the gray to black.

I've also grown to like Google TV - it's mostly Android with a manager on top of it.
