The difference between 3/4" and 19mm is literally splitting hairs. For that reason, many combined sets will skip the 19mm.

Looks like it skips 10, 19, and 22. There are standard size equivalents for those but I would find that very annoying personally.

I have owned their 3/8 socket set [amazon.com]and can vouch that they are made of decent quality and hold up well. They are impact rated but are Chrome - Vanadium. Highly rated impact sockets are Chrome - Molybdenum. Paid $12.60 then and are a dollar cheaper now.

Nah there's a 10, it's just on the 1/2, not the 3/8
1/2" drive 10mm impact socket.... for when you really don't like a fastener.

Yes it is what I called it. Also chromium molybdenum is the best material for impact sockets so let's hear your analysis of chromoly.

Thanks! The SAE are also on sale. $20 for both sets but you miss out on the deep sockets. I only have a 3/8" impact so these two are better for me!

Whenever you see a set of impact sockets labeled "chrome-vanadium", pass on them. Cr-V alloy is typically used for lower stress applications like hand tool (chromed) socket sets. If your requirement is for impact sockets, go with chrome molybdenum (CrMo) steel. Cro Moly are designed to perform under the higher stresses of impact use.

Pass on these …

Agreed! Annoying as hell not to find a size you need.

The 10mm is missing before you get it. It's less frustrating that way.

you are talking a $30 set vs. $100 set.

Word of warning and just my opinion... I purchased their 11 piece SAE 1/2" Drive Long set on amazon for $23.04 in December.

What I noticed as soon as I got them in my hands was that the sidewalls are very thin, most are thinner than my USA Craftsman chrome sockets.
I have only used one socket extensively on a pretty weak impact with no problems yet, but to be honest I am expecting them to start shattering once I use them on a bigger impact.

I also own Capri and Sunex impact sockets and they are much thicker, with the Sunex being the thickest and looking about as thick as my friend's MAC impacts. I wish I'd saved my money and just got another Sunex set for my SAE longs.

15/16" is also missing. Can I use 24mm instead of 15/16"?

Couple things. Here is a chart that shows metric and SAE sizes and what converts over.

https://handtoolessentials.com/bl...ric-sizes/

Also Cr-V vs CR-mo is an age old comparison. Cr-V is less ductile than CR-mo and will have a greater tendency to crack under stress.

CR-mo will deform and mushroom out more readily than Cr-V over time.

From Tekton's site -

Chromium-molybdenum and chromium-vanadium produced with equal care and hardened to similar levels have highly similar mechanical properties. In fact, they are almost chemically identical, the main difference being far less than 0.5% by weight in the form of molybdenum or vanadium. Therefore, we cannot say that either chromium-molybdenum or chromium-vanadium is better. Either Cr-Mo or Cr-V is an excellent choice for all normal uses of wrenches, hand-driven sockets, impact sockets, ratchets, and other similar tools. The metallurgical difference between Cr-Mo and Cr-V is insignificant in these applications. Instead, the consistency of the material, the tool geometry, the hardness to which it is heated, and the design and implementation of the manufacturing process control the differences in hand tool quality.

I actually prefer thin sidewalls, as my rims have little clearance for the deep socket.... Maybe others can chime in. In this case, I'm not sure the thickness is a good indicator of the overall strength and quality.
