    It's strange that in the description it doesn't say anything about Atmos.. It's in the title on their page etc. I can verify that this is an Atmos bar because the Atmos input scrolls across the screen on the soundbar when it detects it..



    Also just noticed in the description is say for the B63C sound bar..

    Atmos is a codec. It can contain many individual channels. This soundbar is capable of decoding an Atmos stream and demuxing it down to 3 channels.

    Yeah but you aren't getting anything close to real atmos experience without height adjusted speakers. Nowadays the crappy hisense 5.1.2 claims atmos. It's not really atmos. I get It's the codec, but without the proper height adjusted speaker sound you are getting atmosish kinda sorta lite at best. I suppose it's better than nothing but would at least go for the Q series for a few bucks extra with the upfiring speakers.

    Atmos experience? I'm confused. I think you're regurgitating what other people have said.
    Atmos is not an "experience". To be franc, Atmos is the successor to Dolby Digital Plus. It is a multiplexed codec with support for higher bitrates & more channels than DD+.

    If you have a setup with support for the all the available channels, then you still have to ensure the room is acoustically favorable. Size, spacing, angles, and materials all act in synergy towards producing an optimal listening experience. Over 99% rooms are not constructed with these considerations in mind.

    Furthermore, you're operating under the presumption that the content you're consuming has been engineered to properly utilize all available channels. With most cinematic productions, it isn't. To film & edit with the necessary array of microphones is cost prohibitive to all but the largest productions. Effects can be added in post, but it lacks the authenticity of being recorded.

    The prime use case for 10+ channels channels is gaming. Given the considerable constraints in most residential spaces, you'd be better off purchasing a multichannel headset for the most immersive & best-sounding experience.
