Will someone please recap the details of the hack? I've seen it mentioned several times but felt bad about trying it. But now, the price on a tool I've been waiting on is cheaper than I've ever seen it.
Same- I normally buy and then Facebook marketplace the returnable item/hack…
It is pretty simple- you buy both items and then return the item you don't want (the battery in this case) and keep the discounted wanted item (the tool).

Thanks. When I change to your zip it shows the base price of the polisher as 250 vs my zip which shows at 329. That's why we're seeing different prices. Repped!

Using your zip code...I see it on the website for 250 but when I add the promotion and add to the cart it jumps back to the 329 price making it 221 again. Anyone else getting the same?

You can either return the item you don't want in store, or you can set the item you don't want to a different store for pickup and cancel after ordering
