Agreed on the inflator. It is one of my favourite tools. Always impresses me. And the easiest way I've found to set the exact PSI on all 4 car tires. Screw on the nozzle, set the PSI, and press start. A few seconds later every tire is inflated perfectly.

At this point I just leave it in the car permanently. Use it for air mattresses, inflatable pool toys, bicycle tires, sports balls/equipment. The 4AH battery I have last all year long off a single charge.
Is it safe to leave the battery in a car? even in summer?

My garage gets way warmer than the sub-floor in my car. My car also has overheat protection which means the A/C kicks on if the temps get to 100 inside the cabin.

That said YMMV. And I'd use some common sense along with it. I'd imagine the subfloor of the trunk of most vehicle stays relatively cool.. you know the area where the spare tire lives. Thats exactly why I keep my inflator/battery.

The tire hose is screw on not quick connect.

Buy this $7.59 adapter to convert it to a much easier connection to the tire valve. It's a game changer: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/produ...UTF8&psc=1

For Reference: I paid $36 for the inflator during the DTO sale last week with free shipping.

How did you get free shipping on that DTO deal? Shipping was $15

DTO was offering free shipping in January but that ended (so far as I know) on 1/31. They did play some games with that by simply switching a multitude of items to "store pickup only" so it was only a good deal if you needed a particular item, it had a good price and they would ship it. The couple of items I wanted were store pickup only - and there's no DTO within hundreds of miles for me so the whole thing did me no good.

Sounds like the DTO deal had a lot of restrictions, but those who were eligible got a sweet deal.

Currently, the HD deal is OOS. It's a shame the SD effect happened so quickly on this deal, but not surprising! Hopefully they will restock soon!
