I am not sure how I feel about the expiration date, that's the kicker for me.

As an FYI- in store walmart generally sells most switch games for $50. Only truly a deal if you only want digital.

This hasn't been the case for nearly a year (started with Kirby I believe).

By itself, it's an easy way to save $10 a game.

If you can combine this with eShop credit deals ($40 for $50 at Costco sometimes for example) and then the 5% back via gold coins ($5), new release full priced titles (the ones that don't go on sale for a while) would basically be $37.50.

So definitely a good deal if you set it up right.

Legend of Zelda BOTW 2 aka TOTK is 100 days away. Most anticipated Switch game ever.

Missed out on the vouchers last time cuz NSO lapse. Thanks for posting.

While the new Zelda isn't officially available for pre-order yet, there is a 99.9% chance it will be available with this voucher too since ever other first party Nintendo game is.

Just maybe wait to be 100% sure if you want to use one of these for that game.
Word is there will be a Nintendo Direct sometime next week and they'll very likely be opening pre-orders then.

Anyone have a plan how to maximize the value of this, if you're a current switch owner who doesn't have any eshop currency or a switch online membership (and has absolutely zero interest in this service)?

Definitely interested, just need to figure out the best way to get a switch online trial and 100$ on eshop

Correct, they seemingly suspended it with any new titles that were released beginning in March 2022. Older releases are still discounted but not newer ones beyond that date.

Don't forget that Mar 10 (Mario Day) is coming up and many of Nintendo's older titles drop to $40.

I bought bayo for 50 plus another 10 dollar discount that was advertised in a different thread. Right around release. I don't think it had been discounted so shortly after release afaik

Dude I think the best deal for Nintendo games is just to use the GameStop membership to get 5 eShop credit a month. My wife and nephew have accounts so now I basically get more credit than I know what to spend on.

GameStop took the $5 Nintendo eshop out of their system. You have to buy minimum $10 now.

It's 50% off on eShop credit effectively. It's still the best deal you'll find on it.

I'm pretty much just stacking it over time for whenever a good Nintendo release comes out.
