Both intel and nvdia chips constanty thermal throttles.
Wish they set tge power usage lower on both gpu and cpu. Better than throtthling.

But Legion 5 pro/7 is a better laptop in every way.
Similar specs, better cooling, can charge via usb-C (when you dont' want to carry heavy charger, this is huge), extra m2 slot. (2022 G15 only has 1 x m2 slot)
I am happy with mine since I got it $400 cheaper than similar spec legion 7 at the time. I don't game though, I use the laptop as a desktop replacement hooked up to dual monitor with sometimes trying machine learning stuff which requires nvdia gpu.
