Massive clearance on all Spax screws and lag bolts. According to the associate there was a company buyout and Home Depot is changing their stock.
All of the $60 boxes were 15 and all of the $15-20 boxes were $3-5; also all of the expensive Lag Bolts ($3-5) were down to 30 to 80 cents.

Which likely means unless you have a specific zip code, these will be store/locale dependent and not online.

True. But if you do get lucky, there might be a large supply and wide variety.

Loved Spax screws.

Was thinking I don't remember Home Depot even carrying these anymore. And sure enough, local stores are unavailable. The older Spax screws were my absolute favorite. Man they were high quality.

IMO, the Spax screws are the best that HD has. It would be a shame if they were replaced with a lesser quality lineup. Does Lowe's carry Spax?

Right, had that happen to me a few years ago when they forgot to remove the tags off the shelf. Got a few packs of spax that would have been about $50-70 for less than $10, it was great.

Spax are my favorite screws as long as they're the hex version. The phillips versions i've used haven't been as good.

I'm not certain of Lowe's, but if you have Menards in your area they carry quite a bit.

I think these disappeared from my local stores sometimes last year. Good deal if you can find some.

How are SPAX screws compared to GRK? Been using GRK and they seem like high quality.
