Lol thinking same thing. I decided to wait for reviews. I got cyberpunk for $10 less than a year after it came out. Hopefully HW day1 patch is strong

Dunno where all the hate is coming from; I preordered cyberpunk digital for ps4 pro and it was the best game of 2020. If they had a ps5 preorder deal for this game I'd be on it too

There's been enough gameplay footage released, and though there is still a review embargo (right now, but does get lifted reasonably before release) WB is not enforcing making people not talk about playing as they play for their upcoming reviews, so I think it is fairly safe. I mean there are going to be issues... the people playing/talking right now say there are some issues with texture pop-in, a few audio glitches, etc. Hopefully some will get ironed out in a day 1 patch. But nothing broken, and framerates are smooth. Obviously if you want ZERO bugs you wait a month or two... but that's true even for smooth releases. It is (unfortunately) the norm for all games to release with some bugs.

Anybody buy this (Hogwarts PC key) yet, or have pre-purchased a Steam key from Newegg before?

1. Will this be sent out early so it can be plugged into Steam now? Or not sent until launch? (Which would suck for the deluxe since one of the "perks" is playing days early)
2. Does Newegg send this in a way that can be fwd or plugged in to somebody else's Steam? Basically want to buy this for my wife, not myself. So don't want to redeem it for my own Steam account.

I'm wondering the same thing as well. Based off some quick google search, it looks like a mixed bag if they'll send the digital code before or after the release date.

On the checkout page for it, does say "Pre-order: Ships after 02/07/2023" So might miss the early release with the deluxe edition...

I can't speak for Steam, but the Xbox key will be sent the day of release. That is how previous preorders have been handled. I was able to pre download the game through the xbox app.

I think 2/7 is the early release date. The normal release date is 2/10. So you should get it on the early release date it appears. Might miss a few hours or something.

EDIT: just noticed the page for xbox deluxe says 2/7. The page for Steam deluxe says 2/10. So.. that doesn't sound safe.
