Same here. The G series also come with 5 year warranties from LG too so seems worth it to me for that reason alone.

i have a 77" c1 from buydig.. at the time it was like 2400 which was a steal then.. wild inflation doesn't touch TVs.

Anyways they delivered it on freight, I paid the driver 20 dollar tip, he helped me get it in and waited for 5m for me to open and confirm it was ok.

If it wasn't I would have sent it back. With things like this always open and check it first and deny delivery if it's broken, saves a lot of headache.

Been going strong for almost a year, no issues.

That's correct. TVs actually usually experience deflation, and last couple reports I have seen have shown 11-16% deflation for televisions over the past year.

In for one and planning to do just that. Also bought with Amex in case things go astronomically wrong and I need a good charge back team on my side.

I really never understand why someone would go through the trouble of hanging a tv on the wall when they clearly have no idea how too.

$200 to pay someone to hang up a $2000 tv, or you inventing and run the risk of damaging……..

I bought one of those articulating mounts from Costco and was able to hang a 75" 80-ish pounds tv by myself with some careful planning.

Extend the mount out, raise the tv as close to the mount's attachment point as possible. I used a tv console table and some wooden blocks to raise the tv to mounting height, then grabbed the tv and hooked it onto the mount. Oh yea, I did this with a labrum (shoulder) tear too, unbeknownst to me Cool

For people that prefer Sony and have Micro Center around, they still have refurbished 77 A80CJ for 1599. I got one a month ago and it's been perfect so far.

Good point. That's a great price, even for a refurb 2022 model. I have a 2019 65" C OLED (C9?) and would love a newer 77".. but it is not a need.... maybe if the stock market's weak recovery keeps going... or I sell my rental house...

This Sunday we should see the Super Bowl sales start as the weekly ad sales for Best Buy, etc. start Sunday and with the game a week from this Sunday, the sales will appear this coming week. I don't feel they will be dramatic but Super Bowl time of year is one of the best times to purchase a television. Those expecting a big price decrease on the LG C2 OLED models, it won't happen. There may be a slight decrease, maybe $100-$200 but the C2 is still selling incredibly well. You won't find significant discounts on the C2 until later on in the year or early next year, if C2 inventory lasts that long. The C3 has proven itself that it's not a big enough upgrade for current OLED owners to get nor is it worth while waiting for the C3 is not much different than the current C2 model and thus, people would rather save the money as there will be about an $800-$1000 difference between the C2 65" currently and what the C3 65" will debut at when its released in a few months.

Super Bowl time does bring out the worst in some buyers, whereas they go out and buy a brand new TV just for the game and/or a Super Bowl party that they put on, only to return it a few days later. Yes, those kind of people exist in this world, they are the same people who buy air conditioning units in the Spring and return them in the Fall. So those looking for a television, check your local Best Buy as they turnaround and sell those returned TV's when its only been a few days or a week since originally purchased, and they are sold as "open box/customer return" after they get tested so you can save some money that way, but to protect yourself, since they are a return and you have no idea how the televsion was handled, go the safe route and buy the extended warranty with it.

Refurb on OLED is likely because someone sent it back for panel near-black issues. Dirty screen, vertical banding, etc. If you don't care about ugliness when video pans when the scene is near black, then this is a good deal. Mostly used for gaming? Good. Watch a lot of movies/TV with darker scenes? Might not be so great.

If you're military or a veteran the Shopmyexchange has the new ones from $2299. No tax, but have to pay $249 for a 4 year warranty. That's the cheapest I could find for a brand new one. Costco and Sams Club are $2499 with 5 year All State Warranty, but for me in AZ with tax those come out to be $2682. Wish Costco still offered the credit card warranty.

They do sell these with a two year warranty as well for those worried about getting a refurbished unit. Those cost 2099 and have no further warranty. Same seller.
