Any Gen4 SSD will work. The speed doesn't matter. That 7,000 won't load your games much faster than even an SSD with a speed of 3,200, (it might load SOME games 1 or 2 seconds faster, but that's it), because games aren't programmed to use that extra speed. This is a great deal, though.

How's this compare to the CORSAIR MP600 PRO LPX PCIe Gen4 x4 NVMe 1.4 M.2 SSD for $95? For a PS5.
This review has benchmarks with both the MP600 pro lpx and kc3000. They are very similar drives. Same e18 controller and Micron flash.
The mp600 pro lpx comes with a heat sink designed for the ps5 though. https://www.tweaktown.com/reviews...index.html
