Their color schemes are not my thing. Maybe a few color combos capture my interest. I know this brand is expensive, but wonder how the quality compares to Patagonia or Marmot.

Cotopaxi is the name of a State in Ecuador. How is it legal to take the name of an entire State and use it for private commerce? Can I open a boot shop and call it texas.com? This also happened with Putumayo which is a record label stealing the name of a Colombian State. Not cool

Have you heard of Patagonia? Why would a location be off limits for a company name....

Personally, I think Cotopaxi stuff is pretty good. Not crazy top tier, but I have a few pieces from all three brands (all tops, no pants), and say that personally, I like Patagonia the best, then Cotopaxi, just because the colors make it harder to wear with other stuff sometimes (for me). But then I don't care much for the few pieces of Marmot I have, honestly, It's not...bad, per se, it's just cut differently? Ended up giving at least one piece away to a friend that just wears it around their house.
To give you some other indications of...similar?...brands that I like, I really like Faherty, but their stuff doesn't last as long. It is seriously comfortable, in my opinion, though.

I believe this company is named after the Ecuadorian national park of the same name, very similar to Patagonia's brand name origin
