I have very, very serious doubts about an 800 lb capacity on a flimsy looking bench like this. That adjustable style, where the main supports just form a triangle (with no bottom segment), is absolutely nowhere near as strong as the standard "2 vertical T legs" style of bench. I have one like that, and its maximum weight capacity is either 500 or 600 pounds.

This thing is not holding 800 pounds. I wouldn't want to lift anything over maybe 150 pounds (+ bodyweight) on this bench.

For anyone who wants this for a decline position, there are a couple of reviews in there saying it's not good for that, just FYI if you are looking for that.

All of the spelling and grammar mistakes in the product pictures make me totally trust the 800 pound capacity.

I've paid this much for a bench that is very similar but also allows a decline. I love the decline for ab exercises. My bench also collapses to a very small footprint too and is easy to move.

Initial feedback, and mine as well, is to look elsewhere...

I'm looking for a decent bench that can fold out of the way to save space when not in use. Any recommendations? Currently got a bow flex bench that's good but really need a space saving option.

This bench might be alright for a slender person with some light weight dumbells. For a barbell workout, I'd get a more substantial bench that doesn't fold and costs $150+

I have this one and its sturdy: https://xmarkfitness.com/collecti...adjustment
