I haven't had this brand in particular, but I've had sugar-free preservatives before which had a similar nutritional profile. Jello is a good description of the taste and texture, albeit more dense.
Some artificial sweetened products work well as alternatives, and others do not. I think preservatives fall into the latter category
They were unused yet you're giving a review on the quality? How does that work? Maybe my brain isn't working correctly, but I don't understand.

Look at the ingredients for any other similar product. The fruit is always first. Then sugar.
Even Smucker's High Fructose Corn Syrup stuff has more fruit in it than these!

Smuckers sugar free Apricot Preserves I think are best but again, hard to find anymore and expensive online. Walmart used to carry it but it seems to have disappeared.
