S10E is still a solid phone. I have one with a bad camera that I use as a backup. Works fine apart from the Camera. Super fast still. There no phones of that size anymore.

And afaik, you do lose out on tap-to-pay support with basically any unlocked/rooted/custom ROM phone. Just fyi for anyone looking to go that route.

Yesterday, I saw the S22 Ultra on eBay in brand new, sealed condition, for $400 with their recent 20% off coupon (not sure if if the deal is still ongoing).

Agreed. And it's still about $100 bucks. Since there have been no technological advances since it came out, there's no reason to upgrade anything. It does not affect functionality if the carrier is not pushing software updates.

Mine had scuffs and dented to shit. Looked like someone dropped it while riding their bike and it just tumbled a couple feet.

I really liked my S10e but replaced it because of no more security updates. Got the S24 and very happy with it. It's just _barely_ a little larger than the S10e and updates for 7 years.

I still think the best time to get it was during all the promos when it was being launched. $200 credit for the S10e and free memory upgrade, case, and screen protector for under $500
