I bought these last month when they were on sale. Extremely poor quality, thin like paper and can't hold weight. Not sure why it's a front page deal smh

I keep buying stuff to store stuff rather than get rid of stuff.

Remember these are light duty: don't expect them to maintain shape or hold anything more than 10 lbs. They're reasonable up stacking up flat blankets or winter coats.

Given the increasing prices of things in general, and the sometimes difficult nature of obtaining certain items, storing stuff is not a bad idea.

I didn't do math well in school. Why did they use Kg instead of Lb?
Think of it this way 1 kg is 1 key is 2.2 lbs of coke.

Be prepared for more inflation. Everything is going up in prices.

Electricity bills are up 10% starting Feb due to rate adjustment. Property tax going up. Everything is going up, you can't run a profitable business with all the cost going up

Because it's a valid unit of measurement, and the company is not bound by your lack of knowledge.

I ordered and got the package in less than 3 hours. WOW Amazon.
Compared to one from IKEA that I own (this [ikea.com]IKIEA - Item # 50395382): and I think it's way better than the one from ops.

Because that's the world standard of measurement. America is the oddball when it comes to measurements.
The great majority of Amazon.com's shoppers are American. (As opposed, to Amazon.jp, Amazon.au, etc.)

So, is it really some impossible feat of programming for Amazon to check the viewer's geographical location and convert kg to lbs or vice versa in the description text? Because I highly doubt that it is.

So, by your logic, it would make sense for a company to write its entire ad in Chinese, since it's a "valid" language, and they should not be bound by the consumer's lack of knowledge? Obviously it's the consumer's job to translate something they're not familiqr with?
Of course not. It's the merchant's job to use language, or UNITS, that their consumers are familiar with IF THEY WANT TO SELL A PRODUCT. It's the height of arrogance to assert that it's the purchaser's job to conform to the seller's units or language. I guarantee that a Chinese hopper (and I'm just using China as an example) would find it arrogant if a U.S. seller marketed goods to them in lbs. "because it's a 'valid' unit of measurement." If the seller is too arrogant, ignorant, or just plain lazy to learn what units are used by the overwhelming majority of people in the country they are marketing to, then I pass. Customer support and product quality is likely to be no better.

Most things on Amazon are Chinese brands so don't expect quality.

Stop arguing. Get an American brand that costs 20 per piece.
