I just got this from work. It is the TRUTH. Multi device control like the pricey MX series. Mouse has so many extra buttons. Comfortable ergonomic layout as well. And Mac/PC interoperability. The flow feature seems killer too… just keep scrolling past the end of the screen and it'll pop to it next PC.

For those not familiar, "Mouse without Borders" is a free app for Windows from Microsoft that allows you to control two computers with one keyboard & mouse.

Sounds cool but my work laptop is locked down tight. Can't install anything on it unless it comes from our approved app list from IT.

M720 mouse is great. I get two solid years of daily use from a single AA alkaline battery.

Right click on the 720 is very sensitive, be warned. I ended up getting G604 mouse for work because you can use Logitech onboard memory manager without admin install privileges.

Note that the Unifying-receiver-and-earlier designs were so unfixable from a security standpoint that Logitech gave up and created Bolt instead. Bolt is WAY more secure than Unifying, and has lower latency than Bluetooth. If you must use these older-version mice/keyboards, I'd advise using them in Bluetooth mode only and not even plug in the Unifying receiver because that receiver makes you vulnerable.

Unfortunately the closest thing I have found to a "deal" on the new Bolt Wireless Logitech mice and keyboards has been https://www.officedepot.com/a/pro...-Business/

But that is only with the small mouse. Most people are better off with the larger mouse bundle, but it costs more, and I've only been able to find it at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-S...0B7Z95B5L/

(Logitech recommends if your write-to-tip-of-middle-finger is more than 3 creditcard-widths, then you should buy the M650 L instead of the regular M650. Source: the "sizing guide" here: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/pr...mouse.html

Note the MK650 does not have multidevice pairing unlike the MK850, which may matter to you.

Sorry I wrote a lot, but if even one person became informed of the problem today, it was worth it.

How does this keyboard compare to the Logitech MX keys mini from Dell for $70? Looking for a solid keyboard for work

The Logi MX mini is Bolt and more secure. See my post above yours: https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=161518387&postcount=27

If you don't need the features of the MX like travel-friendly size (fewer, but more comfortable keys), and backlighting, and don't mind the usual membrane-keys, and full size which includes a keypad, then the K650 gets good reviews and lasts for way longer than 5 months (or 10 days with backlighting) on a full charge. The K650 runs on AAs and can last for up to 3 years on a single pair of AAs according to Logitech. With no worries of the lithium battery slowly losing capacity over time, either.

The MK850 runs on AAAs with similarly long battery life as the new MK650. It's also full-size, not backlight, like the MK650. The MK850 has multidevice pairing (so do the MX Keys, but not the MK650). If you go with the MK850, I'd advise against plugging in the Unifying receiver; just use Bluetooth instead.

This is not a bad keyboard. Way better that what companies provide to employees . But I personally prefer Logi MX series or Apple keyboard way better. Short profile of it makes typing much easier and is more ergonomic. Take a look at that too if you can spend a little mote

I had previously bought this set but had to return it because I couldn't stand the keyboard. The layout and shape are strange, causing constant typing errors. The key presses themselves were very mushy. Finally, I was getting constant keyboard disconnects over both Unifi and BT.

The mouse is fantastic FWIW

Mx is way more ergonomic. You will be happier if typing a lot and limited on space as well

Meh, the number of people who need to worry about some hacker eavesdropping nearby on their keystrokes is vanishingly small. Bolt wouldn't be so bad if it included backward compatibility (even if insecure) to unifying devices, or if Logitech switched everything over instead of segregating it to their higher-end / gaming peripherals.
