    For ppl who has never used these types of fountain: the real pain isn't how often you should change filter, it's simply bacteria will grow and build up on the plastic surface, in just a few days. Unless you are committed to take it apart and clean weekly, i'd advise to stay away from these fountains and simply use bowls and switch them bi-daily, it's much simpler. I personally have one from catit and the top part is stainless steel but still i found evidence of bacteria growing. Now my fountain is sitting in garage lol

    We tried one a similar one. The noise freaked out our cat and they wouldn't go near it. Had to go back to a plain old water bowl.

    tofu vic mentioned one in the other thread, but I asked him about how often he has to change the filter, didn't respond. I really want to get one because we have to leave 2 bowls and it's pain every night to change the bowls/clean/repeat.

    What is going on with this Baseus crap? I am so sad actually because I've bought some Baseus stuff over the last few months and its been pretty good, but this all feels so sketchy. Why is this battery bank company selling water bowls anyway? $72 down to $18? Super sketchy.
