Battery capacity is 5ah (180wh). 10s2p pack. (Really hard info to find)

I wouldn't use this for anything farther than 3 miles from home and back.

It's so cheap, it will pay for itself replacing a week of daily ubers. Even if it gets stolen in the city I won't be too sad. I refuse to lock up my $7,500 ebike in the city, but this? Sure. Basically disposable.
that's smart. Sucks that we can't have nice things without worrying about it getting snatched.

I'm in NYC. Even if you lock up your bike with kryptonite locks it's not safe.

The other day I saw some vagrants clip the extended battery pack off of a delivery guy's Arrow bike. They just took bolt cutters and cut the whole rear rack off with the battery.

You really want to start with a 500 watt motor for your first ebike. Unless you have zero hills and are up under 150lbs, it's just not enough motor to make it worthwhile. The one good thing about this bike is that it's not a fat tire, which saves on weight. There's no reason for a fat tire ebike on all pavement. The tires wear quickly, and are expensive to replace.
As far as swapping out batteries, you can purchase different connectors on Amazon along with batteries. The batteries are as much if not more than this ebike.

Why do you refuse to lock up your $7500 bike? Locks are pretty cheap insurance

Not that this bike is worth the upgrade investment but the battery can be upgraded. Single speed means just that. Would be a decent starter ebike if you want to tote around locally with minimal effort.

In regards to expensive ebikes and not wanting to go anywhere the bike would be left unattended while locked, in major cities there seems to always be a scumbag that wants what you have. If it's a reference to a decent lock with an insurance disclaimer attached to it, read that insurance disclaimer. You'll see nearly every single lock sold with an "insurance" disclaimer attached is null and void by default. It only covers a failure of the lock itself by manufacturer defect and the lock itself must be presented to the manufacturer for review.
Not talking about an insurance disclosure but saying that a locked up bike has a much lower chance of getting stolen than an unlocked bike

If you don't think adding a lock to your bike makes it less likely to get stolen you either have never lived in an urban area or are simply delusional

You don't need to buy a lock when the bike never leaves your side. The point is there isn't a bike lock strong enough to feel comfortable walking away from a $7,500 bike.

The original poster meant that he does not take his expensive bike out in a situation where he would have to lock up his bike.

What the heck guys? There's no way this is a unisex bike. Riding it doesn't make you a woman, but just because a man CAN ride it, doesn't make the bike unisex either. It's definitely a girl bike.

36v- would this make a good candidate for a dual Ryobi battery conversion so the batteries could be hot swapped?

Its only a girls bike if you put a woven basket in front with daisy pins stuck on it.

Does not have the horizontal bat that goes from the seat to the front.
This has the diagonal 'woman bike' bar.
