Solid deal. Have been wearing original Apex Bionic regularly since last 8 years and has held on solid. No brainer for the price. Keep in mind that this will help you to about 40F wearing straight on tee. Not meant for below 32F, but everyone's tolerance is different.

Same here... green on green... and has worn great. Purchased Dec, 2015 from Cabelas. THE NORTH FACE APEX BIONIC JACKET REG MEDIUM TRIUMPH GREEN @ $49.88 each

Honestly without windchill and in dry/sunny weather, you can wear this jacket without layering upto 40F. Not sure about the 2nd iteration, but mine doesn't repel any water. So not suitable for cold and damp days. Irrespective, it is a great price for a great jacket. Looks very clsssic. The fit is bit loose, so don't expect slimmer fit.

I also own the original version for the last 10 years and the velcro on sleeves was the only I thing I don't like about it. This one solves that problem. Definitely not a single layer below freezing solution but works really well for layering. Can't get better than this at this price.
